Sure, they're missing a their minds and are still rotting, but they're moving. That's the same thing, right?Prerequisites: Ability to cast 1st level necromancy spellsBenefit: You effectively gain animate dead as a spell-like ability at 1st level at will, through the casting time is 10 minutes and the undead only last for 24 hours unless you use the appropriate amount of onyx. Adding them permanently adds them to your normal control pool. If you create undead with a CR higher than your own CR, these undead appear uncontrolled (though you can attempt to rebuke or otherwise control them afterward). Special: If you learn and cast the actual animate dead spell, then your undead gain an intelligence score of 10. Although it does not gain any feats or skills.
