Range: Touch; 30ft.
Target: Weapon touched
Duration: 1 min./level
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless, object); Will partial, see text
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless, object); Yes, see text

Your weapon gains a dark sheen as if starving for a lone victim.

If there are no creatures with an Int score greater than 2 within 30 feet of your attack target that are 'Fanatic', 'helpful' or 'friendly' towards them within sight, The weapon deals (1/2 caster level)d6 vile damage. Additionally anything hit needs to make a Will save vs Frightened, If Will is successful then the subject is Shaken (No save; see below)

When there is a creature in sight within 30 feet; damage is halved (rounded up) and no will save is needed.

The weapon affected seems to absorb light as it turns pitch black.

Material Component: a shard of darkened glass.
