Ki points are what fuels most monk abilities, if you have ever player a monk you know they have a ki pool and use ki points from that pool. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Furhammer (talk • contribs) at
- Perhaps in Pathfinder, but no in the 3.5 monk; you should link to the appropriate section if you're going to refer to something outside the 3.5 SRD.
- Also, is it a swift action like Pathfinder styles? If so, that's pretty damn powerful, as you can, at the end of your turn use a swift action to gain DR 5/— and then end it at the start of your next turn, effectively getting DR with no downsides every other round. --Ghostwheel (talk) 16:53, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- I was unaware the 3.5 monk did not have a ki pool, the issue of the ki requirement will be remeidied later today. But unlike the other stance this was meant to be a standard action but was overlooked when being typed up, but a swift action to leave it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Furhammer (talk • contribs) at
- Aside from the Ki points issue, I feel these should be maneuvers and not feats. Them just being maneuvers would be a sufficient limiting factor alone. Also this one is incredibly weak, even for moderate balance. Trading in all your actions for the round to gain DR 5/- seems like the equivalent of passively taking a beating. Unless your enemy is a pub full of unarmed commoners that's just not worth it.
