Melodic Casting Improved [General]
No one understands better than you the link between art and magic, but you learnt to use them together as a seamless whole.Prerequisites: Perform 4 ranks, Spellcraft 4 ranks, bardic music class feature or similar feature.Benefit: Whenever a Concentration check would be required to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability (such as when you cast defensively or are distracted or injured while casting), you can make a Perform check instead. In addition, you can cast spells and activate magic items by command word or spell completion while using a bardic music ability. Bardic music abilities that require concentration still take a standard action to perform, but you may do a Perform check to cast a spell while concentrating on the bardic music ability (DC is 20 + spell level), if the spell requires the same kind of action that you need to concentrate (usually a standard action). If you succed you cast the spell and keep the bardic music going, if not you lose the spell slot/spell use but you keep the bardic music going.
Normal: A bard can't cast spells or activate magic items by command word or spell completion while using bardic music.Special: Treat any feature similar to bardic music, as bardic music for the purpose of this feat.
