Somatic GesturesEdit

Require both hands free, don't they? --Sulacu (talk) 12:35, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

Nope, only one. Incidentally casting while wielding a 2H weapon is also possible because you can let go with one hand as a free action, per FAQ. It's heavy shield+weapon and two weapons which usually prevent. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 12:59, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
I assume though that using the hand cannon to fire spells or spell-like abilities will not require somatic components? Or would that turn it into too much of a rod of still spell? --Sulacu (talk) 13:26, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
That's... something up for debate. What do you think? It's not Still Spell, as you still have to worry about the real problem: Arcane Spell Failure/Grapples. It's more that (frankly weaksauce) feat Somatic Something... Somatic Swordplay or something. Lets your somatic it up with your hands full. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 15:37, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

WarforgedEdit

I know you explained it to me personally years ago, but I've forgotten. Why is this set warforged component required? It doesn't even make sense with the source material as far as I can tell. There's obviously something here I don't understand, and probably part of that is "are you supposed to never be able to remove it" and "what does locking it in place mean" and "a thing locked in place, can it be disarmed" and "and if it can be disarmed, is it like a locking gauntlet" or something to that effect. --Ganteka Future (talk) 20:01, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
