Gaussian Property of Distribution
Infinite Lotus (Counter)
Level: 2
Initiation Action: 1 immediate action
Range: Melee Attacker
Target: Attacking creature
Duration: Immediate
Saving Throw: Fortitude Partial

Fluff is for somebody else.

You may use this counter when attacked by a creature with a melee weapon. That creature must make a fortitude save equal to an autohypnosis check you make. If the creature fails the save, half of the damage dealt is deflected back onto it, not harming you. If the creature succeeds on the fortitude save, half of the damage is distributed to the spaces around you, dealing one sixteenth the damage to every creature adjacent to you.
