Light and Dark | Zenobia has two states: Light and Dark. What her abilities do are dependent on which form that she is in. Zenobia can switch state as a swift action during her turn. Whenever Zenobia switches state, all her current effects that have a Light/Dark state are nullified. |
Claws | Zenobia is capable of extending and retracting her fingernails into natural claws. As a free action, she can extend her nails into claws and vice versa. Zenobia's claws are natural weapons, deal a base of 1d4 damage and use dexterity for modifiers to attack and damage. |
Poison | Zenobia's claws secrete a natural poison that is generated by her body. Whenever Zenobia deals damage with her claws, she also deals 1d6 dex/1d6 dex poison damage. The save for this is con based. |
Improved Chassis | The Enforcer Chassis that Zenobia inhabits has been upgraded to 2.0, which denotes the ability to hold two Soul Fragments. |
Essence Link (Su) | Zenobia is capable of creating a link between herself and another as a channeled effect, either to heal or kill them. This effect requires line of sight and line of effect, and the target may make a will save in order to resist the channel. The save for this ability is cha based. Zenobia's Essence Link has a range of 60 feet.
If the target fails or forgoes the will save, a ‘link’ is made. Zenobia may take actions while channeling, but must take a move or standard action per turn in order to maintain the channel. If she takes damage, then she must make a concentration check to ignore distractions to continue to maintain the link. A channeled abilities effect occurs at the immediate beginning of the target’s turn. During their turn, the target may use a swift action to break the channel by making another will save. Similarly, if a target leaves the range of the link or Zenobia loses line of sight or effect to the target, the link is immediate broken. Initially, Zenobia may use the essence link for the following abilities:
|
Sins (Su) | Zenobia was once a demon who fed on the emotions of mortals and through this, she has learnt ways to influence emotions in them. Zenobia's abilities to manipulate emotions are based on her ability to influence the minds of those with emotions to feel a swell of want to do something regarding these sins. The will save for any Sin ability is Charisma based. Unless otherwise specified, each ability has a duration of CL rounds, a cooldown of CL rounds, and is [mind-affecting]. Any ability that does not have a range defined has a range of 60 feet.
|
Sangromancy (Su) | The blood of a demon is said to be a powerful thing and Zenobia's blood, even in an Enforcer Shell, has some of the magical qualities as before. Her blood allows her a degree of control over those that imbibe it. Once, she used to call those that drank her blood her thralls; but now, she only strives for the power that she once had. Anyone that has drank half a cup of Zenobia's blood can be effected by any of Zenobia's Sangromancy abilities. The blood stays in the system for 8 hours.
|
Devour Emotions (Su) | Zenobia can use calm emotions on any target that is linked to her through Essence Link as a full-round action. This includes the action to maintain the link. Doing this heals Zenobia CL + Cha Mod hit points. |
Enforcer Race[edit]
Enforcers are not so much born as they are a manufactured. Each one is a pliable construct shell containing the soul of another being, bound there as punishment and in servitude.
- Living Construct
- Medium'
- Absorb Soul Fragment: The enforcer shell is a chassis for a soul, but also it allows for the storage of 'soul fragments'. Soul fragments fuel the shell and provide nourishment for the soul bound to the frame. As a standard action, an enforcer can extract a fragment of a soul from a recently deceased body (up to CL minutes) that has a soul into her own body. This causes the previous soul fragment that was stored in her body to be fully consumed. Soul Fragments can be stored in an enforcer's body for CL days, until they are finally consumed in totality. Absorbing a being's soul fragment does not impact their ability to return to life via magic or other effects, and if a being is returned to life any soul fragment currently within an enforcer shell is immediately released and may not be called upon further.
- Emulation: The enforcer shell is a flexible container, and can be made to express certain characteristics of the soul fragment within. As long as an enforcer has a soul fragment stored in her body, she may change the outward appearance of her shell to become that of the soul fragment's mortal body. The appearance gained is limited to those available under the disguise self spell, but can also mimic non-humanoid types. There is no error in the imitation and any 'twitches' or other unique characteristics of the body are also imitated. It is a perfect physical imitation, and can not be pierced by low level skill abilities that would detect a disguise. It grants no particular ability to otherwise act as the person, however, and attempts to pass yourself off as a specific person still requires skill in Bluff. This disguise can be maintained as long as the soul fragment remains in the enforcer shell.
For enforcers skilled in disguise, however, the emulation ability is somewhat stronger. The shell serves as a costume component of any disguise, and may be used to grant abilities with the advanced disguise skill abilities. When abilities are granted that would mimic those of the contained soul fragment, the enforcer gains a +2 competence bonus to their disguise check. - Requisition and Storage: An enforcer is allowed minor access to the extra-dimensional storage space and provided by the OBC. As a full-round action, the enforcer may open up a tiny pocket dimension capable of holding 1 cubic foot of material per CL. There is no weight limit associated with this space. The container is quite secure, as it can only be accessed by the enforcer and as a regular storage unit on the OBC demiplane. The enforcer can also use this space to file reports with the OBC, as well as to request material assistance with an assignment. An equipment requisition of this sort generally takes 10 minutes to fill, and only non-magical items with a value of less than 1000gp that could also fit within the space are ever granted in this fashion. There is no guarantee that the requisition will be filled, however.
- Starvation: An enforcer body does not require food or drink, but instead they require the soul fragments they get to sustain their body. If they don't have a soul fragment to feed on for 1/2 CL days, then they become Starved and take a -4 penalty to every die rolled, including damage dice. In the event that a Starved Enforcer rolls a d20 for damage, this penalty is doubled for those damage dice.
- Property of The Organization Banking Corp: Enforcers are manufactured by the OBC and considered their property. In order to keep their investments and property in line, all enforcers suffer a -5 penalty against any charm, compulsion, or mind-affecting ability used against them by their superiors in the organization. Additionally, they may be called back to the home office at any time. This is a calling ability that targets the enforcer, and may be resisted by succeeding on a DC 15 will save. Once resisted, the enforcer is safe from additional calling for 1 hour. After that time the enforcer may be called again, and each additional calling imposes a cumulative -2 penalty to their saves.
