Illuminator, Elan [Metapsionic, Racial]
By the power vested in me, blah, blah, blah. Welcome to your new life kid! Now go away, you bother me.Prerequisites: Elan 12 HD. Skills: Knowledge (Psionics) 15 ranks, and Psicraft 15 ranks.Benefit: Any Elan with this feat can "make" new Elans. In order to achieve this, an Illuminator must make mental contact (Psicraft check DC 25 + (2 x HD of the candidate)) with a candidate. Then the Illuminator must expend their psionic focus and, in addition, spend 500 XP per HD of the candidate . If successful, the candidate is a brand "new made" level 1 Elan.
Normal: Although no documentation exists for the creation of Elans, there is a strong belief, held by some, that those in the secret Elan enclaves known as Cullers, use this process in congress under a currently manifested Metaconcert power to alleviate the drain from the XP loss ( Knowledge (psionics) DC 30).Special: A retry is possible for the same candidate if the original ritual fails, however this ritual can only be performed once a year and the DC increases by 1 for each failure for said candidate.
