With the sound of vibrating strings the ranger pulled a glowing energy bow out of thin air, and began raining arrows at their opponent.
You summon a magical bow (either a composite shortbow or longbow) made of glowing energy that produces its own ammunition. The bow automatically adjusts its Strength requirement to fit its user, or you can choose to use your casting ability modifier (Wisdom for rangers, Charisma for bards) in place of your Strength or Dexterity score, but not both.
The bow counts as a magical weapon which vanishes 1 round after leaving your person. It can be redrawn from thin air with the same action to normally draw a weapon as long as the duration has not expired. Normal arrows may be used with the bow, and the bow otherwise has all the properties of a normal masterwork version of itself.
Material Component: If special materials such as cold iron or adamantine are used as part of casting, the arrows produced by this bow share its property. You need as much material as 1/50th the cost of a normal weapon made of the material. It can only possess one material at a time.
