If you miss your target, you will surely hit something near him. Quantum shot can be placed on projectile weapons and their ammunition, transforming your arrow, bolt, or bullet into a cloud of probability. If you miss your initial target, you instead can aim at any creature within 15 ft of your initial target using the same attack roll and have your attack hit them instead. Just as planned.
Moderate Divination; CL 13th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, divination; Price: +3.
