By saying something sad and poetic and touching a corpse of an innocent bystander, the Paladin performs the miracle of resurrection.
This spell functions like raise dead, except as noted here. It can only be used to bring back to life a character who is innocent in the eyes of the Paladin: Without exception, murderers, thieves, and people who the Paladin has most recently detected as Evil cannot be brought back.
Divine Focus: A chalice or goblet made of silver and encrusted with gems worth at least 5,000 gp.
