This obsidian bowl is polished smooth. Electrum inlays snake along the outside.
By placing one's hands at the sides of the bowl and focusing, distant places, thoughts and voices ring clearer through your divination spells. The scrying bowl increases the accuracy of percentile-based Divinations (such as augury and divination) by +5%, to the maximum listed for the given spell. However, using the bowl doubles the casting time of the spell.
Once per day, a user with the ability to cast divination spells can invoke a single augury from the scrying bowl by focusing on it for 10 minutes.
This item can serve as an alternate focus or divine focus for scrying.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, scrying.
