Swarming

Buzzing emanates from this weapon when is drawn.

Your enemy is baffled that your encounter is disturbed by pesky pests. The wielder of this weapons may summon swarms to its aid. It may summon one swarm as a move action, two as a standard action and three as a full-round action, in a 30 feet (9 meters) area around itself, but it may not summon more swarms than its weapon enhancement bonus in total per day.

The summoned swarms may appear as any real swarm you like, but they deal swarm damage equal to 1d6 per point of magic bonus of your weapon (up to 5d6) and count as magical for any purpose. They have 20 hit points and the same saves of the locust swarm. The swarms have 20 feet (6 meters) of land speed and climbing speed or 10 feet (3 meters) of land speed and 20 feet of fly speed (good maneuverability), depending on the form you choose. The DC for their distraction effect is 13 + your attack attribute modifier.

They act immediately when summoned, but if you wish to change their target, or direct them against others if their original targat dies or leaves, you must take a mental move action to move all swarms (or less). The summoned swarms last one round per your attack attribute modifier.

Moderate Conjuration; CL 6th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, summon swarm; Price: +2.
