Gotta agree with the IP, the "Line" option is too powerful with the right spell, since touch attacks are pretty damn easy, and no save is way powerful.

What everybody else is saying.

As much as I want to get behind this feat, I just can't accept it as-is. Replacing saves with touch attacks is pretty game-breakingly powerful. The fact is that even in high balance games the primary limiting factor to a spellcaster's power is the fact that a spell might be lost due to a successful save. Really, the only place I can see this working is in moderate or lower game, where spellcasters are using sub-par spells anyway, but since this feat blows most moderate level feats out of the water, it isn't really appropriate there either. Now, you might want to say that really powerful line spells are kinda rare, and you would be right, but (a) several do exist, and (b) sculpt spell is a thing, so that is a non-issue.--24.155.243.149 20:44, 17 July 2017 (MDT)

Huh, I don't remember making this. Guess I did.
You have a fair point. I will alter some things. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 20:28, 5 August 2018 (MDT)

Cone-Shaped Burst

How is this supposed to interact with the many cone-shaped bursts in the game? 172.69.68.41 20:04, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

Oh right, burst is not radius specific.
Burst should be "radius" or something. I'll also account for when a spell has multiple shapes. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 06:45, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
