When you cast this spell, you physically absorb the bodies of a number of willing undead in range, up to twice your caster level in HD. You gain 2 temporary hp per HD of undead you absorb, and your body becomes partly like the undead you absorb (so you appear rotting, gaunt, shadowy, and the like). You detect as undead, other undead see you as one of their own, and you can heal from negative energy as if you were undead, though you retain your normal healing method as well. You gain a +2 attack and +1d6 damage against living creatures while empowered with undead.
As a standard action, you may dismiss the spell, calling your absorbed undead to appear anywhere in range or the closest valid space if out of range. They may act on your turn. This also occurs automatically if you die, appearing 1 round after you die.
