Alchemical Air[edit]
These tiny minerals are actually solidified air that has been condensed into a light, grainy material that can be stored in air tight containers for use when you need some oxygen in a pinch. The minerals react to carbon dioxide giving a regulated reaction where a person can simply hold it in a sealed airtight pouch over their mouth and breath in and out normally until the minerals have fully vaporized. The minerals make a little popping fizz noise while they work, and a typical dose is good for 10 minutes of breathable air for a medium creature.
