This ancient +1 aeon nix longspear look more like a blackened Gothic fence pole than a normal spear, it is made of a strange unidentifiable alloy which is very heavy and feel dense. This pike has a bloody but forgotten history, but is known to inflict extremely deadly wounds. Unlike a normal longspear, the Blackchurch Pike has a 18-20/x2 critical threat and inflict a 2 points of bleed on each successful hit. If used to deal lethal damage, on a natural 20, the critical multiplier become x4 instead of x2, usually impaling opponents outright.

The alloy making this spear allow it to bypass DR/Adamantine and DR/Cold Iron, it has a base hardness of 19 which is further increased to 21 by it enhancement. It can ignore hardness of 15 or lower.

If the wielder attempt to willingly deal nonlethal damage with the Blackchurch Pike it deal no bleed damage and it critical threat become 20/x2. This is in addition to the normal penalties of dealing nonlethal damage, it does not apply if the nonlethal damage is not willingly dealt, such as attacking a creature with regeneration.

The Blackchurch Pike is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
