Binding Oath[edit]
The binding oath ritual is an effect which binds any number of willing creatures under a magical contract, a promise to perform some task or uphold some manner of deal. This duplicates the effect of binding contract (including the required focus) though the targets is any participants in the ritual. The DC of the Will save is set to 12 + the highest mental ability modifier of the ritual leader.
Besides the penalties involved with the spell, those who break the contract become much more likely to attract the negative attention of lawful neutral outsiders known as inevitables.
The ritual is associated with Elegast, and it is said that it was such an oath he and other elves of his court took during his adventures as a mortal.

Casting Time: 1 hour
Pre-Requisites: An item worth at least 500 gp to focus as the "proof of the covenant".
