This bland ashen gray rag is wrapped about the eyes, though you still manage to see through. However, your vision is distorted by that which you wish not to experience.
Wearing this blindfold leaves your vision unaffected, through you are unable to employ any gaze attacks through the cloth unless you drop its benefits for the round (a free action on your turn). Instead your vision is altered to selectively delete any input. You can cause any creature or object to vanish from your view as if under invisibility, though you are unable to see through terrain or objects larger than colossal. This can leave you immune to harmful vision based effects from the creature or effect, but they are treated as invisible to you. You can also deafen yourself to an audio source, remove your sense of touch, sense of taste, sense of smell, sense of pain, and other senses all as a free action on your turn.
2/day you may turn off a sense as an immediate action in response to something, though you need a move action to return the missing sense.
Use of the blindfold disorients the senses. When the blindfold is actually removed, you are rendered confused for one round, with any mentions of attacking becoming staggering and treating the blindfold as the caster. Some have reported that extended use over the course of the week alters the senses so that every sensation is somehow different. This has no mechanical effect other than misleading colors, sounds, smells, and other effects.
