The second evolution of the ripple drive, the blue ripple drive uses extremely cold nyimo to freeze opponents solid.
You perform a ripple strike with frozen nyimo, dealing an extra 3d6 cold damage on a successful hit. If used against a creature vulnerable to sunlight (such as vampire, wraith, etc), that creature takes an extra 1d6 cold damage at the start of each of its turns for 3 rounds.
As part of initiating this maneuver, you may spend 1 point of breath energy point. If you do, the attack gains a +2 bonus to hit and deals +1d6 cold damage per two initiator levels. The target must also succeeds on a Fortitude save or become immobilized in ice. The target may attempt a new save at the end of each of its turns to free itself.
If you have this maneuver readied, you may expend it to use Ripple Drive or Red Ripple Drive instead.
