1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
Less of a weapon and more of an augmentation, body weights are a series of heavy iron weights placed at key locations of the body (namely the hands and feet) which significantly increase the force behind unarmed strikes, at the cost of being really heavy. Body weights cause the unarmed strike damage to rise as if you were one size category larger, and you may treat it as a two-handed weapon when beneficial (including for strength and a half to damage).
You must have Str 13 in order to wield the body weights at all, and even then you take penalties as if you were wearing heavy armor for the purposes of movement speed and evasion, but you retain other class features as normal (allowing the monk to still use these). At Str 17, these penalties are removed. Regardless of your strength score, this weapon increases your armor check penalty by 4, and induces arcane spell failure of 15% as if it were armor. It provides a +4 bonus on stability, as a dwarf, which stacks with the racial ability.
The body weights may be enchanted as a weapon. The enchantments are applied to one's unarmed strike. This is a special monk weapon.
