The coffin is inscribed with images of spiders. With a crack of bone it sprouts spidery legs and scurries off.
This magical coffin is capable of action as if it were an animated object of its size (but use the coffin's normal hp and hardness). It possesses multiple legs, and a climb speed of half its land speed. It is incapable of making attacks, and can follow simple commands like a normal construct. Any occupants enjoy total cover while the lid is closed.
Spider coffins are created with the Craft Construct feat, even though it is classified as a Wondrous Item.
Prerequisites: Craft Construct, animate objects.
Cost to Create: 2000 gp, 160 EXP, 4 days.
