An object believes itself to be in use, and obeys as expected. You can operate any non-magical object out to a distance of 60 ft as if you were using your hands. The object only serves to perform its intended function: doors open and close, buttons are pressed, brooms sweep and move along the ground, and so forth. Objects cannot be used to make attacks even if they are weapons, and some objects are too simple to have an intended function, such as a rock (as opposed to a skipping rock, which is intended to be thrown on water). Actions performed are done with your own ability scores as appropriate, and may require checks to perform.

Reverse: You lock a non-magical object's intended function by jamming moving parts (the reverse function does not work on objects without moving parts). A jammed object isn't broken and can be fixed and returned to normal use with an opposed ability check as appropriate (usually a Strength or Dexterity check).

Interjections like this do not have primal utterances.
