Confounding Dwarven Defender
A dwarven defender who uses spell-like abilities in order to not suck.
Class: Dwarven Defender
Prerequisites: None
Level: 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th
Replaces: Uncanny dodge, trap sense, mobile defense
Benefit: At 2nd level, the dwarven defender gains the ability to use confusion as a spell-like ability 5 times per day. The only possible result for this confusion effect is to attack the dwarven defender. The save DC is Wisdom-based. The dwarven defender's caster level is equal to his class level. At 6th level and every 4 class levels beyond 2nd, the dwarven defender gains 5 additional uses of this ability per day.
At 4th level, the dwarven defender gains the ability to use translocation trick[1], as the spell, as an immediate action 4 times per day. This does not cause the dwarven defender to forfeit the benefits of his defensive stance. The save DC is Wisdom-based. The dwarven defender's caster level is equal to his class level. At 8th level and every 4 levels beyond 4th, the dwarven defender gains 4 additional uses of this ability per day.
