This +1 light shield has no arcane spell failure and is surrounded by a ring of white crystal which seems to glow with its own dim light. As an attack action you can shoot a ring of light out at a target as a ranged touch attack out to 60 feet, and dealing 2d6 points of damage, 20/x2 critical. Creatures weak to light (such as vampires and some oozes) take double damage. If the shield is enhanced as a weapon, the weapon enhancements apply to the ring of light attack. Any round you use your shield to attack with, you lose your shield bonus (unless you have Improved Shield Bash).
