Depleted Darklight Rod[edit]

The radioactive darklight ore is dangerous, but stabilized non-radioactive (or, at least, non-dangerous) forms are possible. Processed through various alchemical means and typically created from spent refined darklight rods whose fuel is used up, depleted darklight ore still has function as a heavy powerful material known for its weight and density. It is usually crafted into armor for vehicles and fortresses, or armor-piercing ammunition. Unlike its other forms, it is safe to handle, but difficult to forge into weapons and armor due to its weight, not that it has stopped people from trying. Because of its rarity, it is an acceptable form of currency in some places, going for about 700g per pound.
