When you use this blast shape, your eldritch blast takes the form of a mount that duplicates the effects of phantom steed. While the steed exists you have no access to your eldritch blast. However, the steed itself has an eldritch blast (no shape, and whatever essence you gave it when invoking this ability) using your attack roll and damage. Dismissing the eldritch steed is a standard action, or automatic if the steed is destroyed.
