5e Spell Emberflash Arrow
Evocation cantrip
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self (60ft Radius)
Components: V, S, M (A ranged or thrown weapon worth at least 1sp)
Duration: Concentration, Up to 1 Round
Casters: Artificer, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard

You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a ranged attack with it against one creature within 60 feet of you. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects, and, the target suffers Fire damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.

Additionally, the target catches fire - At the start of your next turn, unless the target or another creature that can touch the target uses its action to put out the flames, the target must make a Dexterity saving throw, or suffer Fire damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier. On a successful saving throw, the target suffers half as much damage.

At Higher Levels. At 5th level, the target takes an additional 1d4 points of Fire damage at the start of your next turn. This additional damage increases to 1d8 at 11th level, and 1d12 at 17th level.
