A terrible curse extracted from the essence of a Gashadokuro. It force a terribly painful and quick starvation.
This insidious curse forces its victims to gorge themselves on food or risk starvation. Any creature who fails its save against Feast or Famine must spend a standard to eat half a day worth of rations or a full day worth as full-round action on its turn or suffer the consequences. If the target succeed on it initial Will save the curse only last for 1 round.
At the end of each of it turn the victim has not eaten, it takes 2d6 non-lethal damages and become Staggered for 1 round. This count as damage subsisted from starvation and thus render the target fatigued until cured. The subject is allowed a Fortitude save to negate the staggering but not the damages. If the target fails to eat while staggered she takes 1d4 Strength and Constitution damages.
If the target eats as a full-round action, the curse rewards her by granting her 1 temporary hit point per hit dice it possesses. Those temporary hit points stack, but only last until the spell ends.
A remove curse or stronger effect end the effect of Feast or Famine. A creature that not need to eat is immune to this spell. A creature with the Hungry or similar flaw takes a -4 penalty on saving throws against this spell.
