With a word of power, you convince the universe you are far more solid and amorphous than you really are. The target is primed with an utterance that you can trigger at any time later within the next 24 hours as a standard action. No truespeech check is required to prime the target. Once triggered the target gains 25% fortification.
When you have 8 ranks in Truespeech, the fortification rises to 50%. It rises again to 75% at 13 ranks, and to 100% at 18 ranks.
Reverse: You alter the universe to treat creatures immune to critical hits (due to magic or natural abilities) as if they actually had weak points. You strip the creature's immunity by the same amount as you would gain in fortification for the normal ability. Treat immunity to critical hits as 100% fortification for this purpose. A successful Fortitude save negates. Multiple utterances stack, reducing fortification to a maximum of 0%.
Augmentation: For every +10 you increase the base DC by, you can trigger an additional primed instance of this utterance in the same action. For the reversed, you can target another creature within range.
Primal Utterance[edit]
Normal: You can employ the utterance as an immediate action with no check needed, and lasts for 1 hour/level (D).
Reversed: You can employ the utterance as an immediate action with no check needed. It becomes a save for half (50% reduction).
