Hamburder[edit]

Hamburder

Caster Level: 5th
Aura: Faint Conjuration

Often confused for "hamburgers", the hamburder takes on a similar appearance but has more in common with supernatural fungi or oozes, for if left alone they will begin to multiply.

Believed to be the result of mishaps in attempted castings of create food and water, the hamburder takes on an appearance not unlike your common fast food "hamburger", complete with protective wrapper. However it is bland and room temperature, and while technically edible most creatures find them unappealing. Left alone they will absorb local air, water, and unknown and likely magical substances and within the space of 24 hours they will split into three, tripling their number.

This can rapidly become a problem.

Efforts to turn it into a cheap and easily produced food supply have failed as the hamburders have little to no nutritional value and only serve to fill stomachs. Commoners raised on the substance become heavy and bloated but die of malnutrition. Disposing is simple enough, but a missed hamburder can quickly lead to an infestation blooming anew.

Hamburders seem to come in "Plain", "Cheese", and "Big" variants. Rumors persist they also come in "Fish" and "Pizza" forms as well, but this cannot be confirmed.

Prerequisites: Cannot be crafted.
