Hidden Body Compartment[edit]
Used by secret agents, spies, and those who wanted pockets even when they aren't wearing pants, hidden body compartments come in various shapes and sizes and can be used to store small objects with minimal appearance of their location on their bodies. Compartments can be made in the shoulder, torso, waist, feet (x2), arms (x2), and hands (x2) slots, though this does not take up the associated magic item slot.
Opening a hidden body compartment takes a full round action, though Quick Draw or a successful DC 20 Sleight of Hand check can reduce it to a move action (and both can reduce it to a free action).
Shoulder, Torso, and Waist: Shoulders, torsos, and waists can hold an item up to two sizes smaller than it. For example, a Medium human can store a Tiny object in their shoulders. These slots cannot be accessed in Medium or heavier armor. DC 15 Search check.
Arms and Feet: Arms and feet can hold an item up to three sizes smaller than it. For example, a Medium human can store a Diminutive object in their arm. DC 20 Search check.
Hands: Hands can hold an item up to four sizes smaller than it. For example, a Medium human can store a Fine object in their hand. An exception is made for Small creatures, who can also store Fine objects. The amount of time it takes to draw an item from a hidden hand compartment is reduced by one step (minimum free action). DC 25 Search check.
The search check DC is a full-round action and presumes that the creature's body is being searched directly or patted down. By paying double the normal price, one can increase the search DC by 5. Doubling the price again (x4 price) adds another 5 to a maximum of +10 DC.
