This spell forms a number of spherical motes of light which each generate light as a candle, which are referred to as holy light grenades. You may fire each of the grenades into an empty square, or at a creature, making your choice when you cast this spell. When aimed at a creature, a holy light grenade requires a successful ranged touch attack, if it misses it ends in the nearest unoccupied square. If a creature enters a square occupied by a holy light grenade, it explodes.
Upon exploding, a holy light grenade deals 4d6 damage in a 10-feet radius burst, all of that damage from a divine source. A successful Reflex save halves that damage. The explosion of multiple grenades counts as a single damage source, and only one save is needed. If a holy light grenade is in the area of another holy light grenade's explosion, it instantly detonates.
As an immediate action, the caster may detonate all remaining holy light grenades. After the duration of the spell elapses, all undetonated holy grenades harmlessly dissipate.
