Honorbound
You have a strong sense of honor, which alters the way you fight to be as fair to your opponent as possible.
Effect: Your strong sense of honor ensue that you fight fairly, you have the following penalties and restriction:
- You do not gain any bonus to attack rolls when attacking a flanked opponent. When you flank you do not provide a flanking bonus to your ally (but still allow for sneak attack as normal).
- You cannot use any action in a surprise round to attack a foe.
- You must accept challenge ability (such as a Sublime Samurai's Challenge) unless the challenge would force you to act against your nature.
- You cannot take an attack of opportunity when an opponent gets up from prone.
Additionally you have an additional honor clause, such as not using poisons, never harming a surrendering creature, never surrendering yourself or not performing Coup de Grace an opponent you did not defeat yourself or similar limitations. If you knowingly violate that clause of your own free will, you take a -2 morale bonus to attack roll, AC and caster level due to your shame. This penalty lasts for 24 hours and until you restore your honor or rethink your code of honor.
Benefit: A Moderate bonus feat feat or lower for which you meet the prerequisites.
