When you cast this spell you create sharp chunks of ice, which resemble dagger blades, which you launch at foes within range. You may fire two ice chunks, plus one additional chunk for every two levels beyond 3rd (to a maximum of six chunks at 11th level). Each ice chunk requires a ranged attack roll to hit and deals 2d4 damage, half is piercing and slashing and the other half is cold. You may use your caster level instead of your base attack bonus to determine your attack bonus with this spell. Whether an ice chunk hits or misses, it explodes into shard dealing 1 piercing and slashing and 1 cold damage as splash damage. If the ice chunk misses, treat the closest grid intersection between the caster and the target as the center of the splash damage.
The damage and splash damage from multiple knives stack as a single source of damage against a single target.
