When the user manifests this power, an invisible haze of psionic energy lingers at about chest height, with the user always at its center. Creatures within the psychic haze that fail a Will save find it harder to actively fight against mental attacks. Much like in a dream, the mind skips forward and finds it much easier to accept changes that occur around it. In essence, creatures caught inside incur a penalty of -10 on Will Saves. Succeeding on the initial will save renders a creature immune to the haze until its duration ends or the user casts it again, in which another Will Save is needed. This power does not distinguish between ally and enemy. Only the user is immune to Illucid Smog.
Augment: You may augment this power in one or both of the following ways:
1.For every additional 2 power points you spend, this power's range increases by 5 feet and its save DC increases by 1
2. By spending an additional 5 power points, Illucid Smog can distinguish between friend and foe, rendering allies immune.
