This devilish technique creates massive plates of ice on the disciple’s body, between which frigid water flows. When the plates are damaged, the water flows into the cracks and freezes, instantly repairing it. This functionally create an ‘invincible’ armor which protect the disciple from physical attacks.
Upon initiating this maneuver, the initiator covers herself with a regenerating frigid armor of ice and hoarfrost. While this stance is active, the initiator halves any physical damage she receives before her DR, gains DR 5/adamantine and gains a +12 armor bonus to her AC. The armor is heavy and reduces her speed as if she was wearing heavy armor, but does not otherwise interfere with her class feature or movement. Abilities, class features and feats which allow the initiator to move at full speed in heavy armor does not prevent this loss of movement.
The armor has a single weakness, if the initiator is dealt least 20 points of fire damage (before any resistance or immunities) it becomes weakened. If the initiator is struck by a weapon with enough force to deal at least 10 damages to her, the armor instantly shatters into pieces. This ends the maneuver and the initiator and cannot initiate it again for 1 minute.
