You carve a malicious face on the pumpkin used as a material component, then infuse it with vile fiery necromantic energy. The Jack-o'-lantern Bomb acts much like a fireball, but bears potent necromantic energy. The Jack-o'-lantern Bomb has a limited mind of its own, allowing it to seek its targets independently of the caster; in game terms, this means that it is capable of turning corners and seeking out targets not in your line of sight or effect. Finally, upon detonation, it deals 1d6 damage per caster level; half of the damage is fire damage while the other half is negative energy damage.
