Life Support[edit]

With a tap on his head, his armor sealed around his face and his suit tightened, sealing any cracks with protective purple energy.

Life support armor is usually placed on medium or heavy armor, but functions with any armor so long as you are wearing some manner of helmet or headpiece. When activated with a helmet, life support armor becomes form fitting and seals you from the outside environment. The user becomes immune to inhaled poisons, recycles their air supply, and has their biology sustained by internal stores allowing the user to survive with only half their normal intake of food and water. They are immune to pressure changes, but damaging environments can still harm them. Armor check penalty rises by +2 while life support is active as the armor glows, hums, and stiffens. Activating or deactivating life support functions is a move action.

Regardless is life support is on or not, the user benefits from endure elements.

With an additional +1 increase in cost you obtain Improved Life Support, you gain the benefits of adapt body and greater endure elements while life support functions are active, and you are protected from cloudkill and contact poisons.

Faint abjuration; CL 5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, endure elements, mage armor; Price: +2.
