This small, handheld, box-shaped device has a lens on front and buttons on top, with latches on either side. By holding it up and pressing the button (as a move action), one can take a snapshot of what is immediately in the lens' view. It displays the image on the back, and it may be reviewed for removal or kept, or set to automatically keep all images. A stock of small notecard-sized paper inside the side compartment is shifted over by a mechanical trigger, and the magical camera prints the captured image onto the paper. A magical camera can hold a stack of up to 25 sheets at a time.
For an additional 375 gold, a magical camera can have a 'flash' with 50 uses. This is effectively a special form of a wand of light, but its use time is a swift action, and the duration is only 1 round.
