You unleash unerringly accurate missiles of pyroclastic magma at the designated opponents. This spell behaves as magic missile except that you fire a single missile which deals 2d6+2 damage, half of which is bludgeoning damage and half of which is fire damage. Each missile also deals minimum splash damage to each creature adjacent to each target. For every two caster levels beyond 5th, you gain an additional missile—two at 7th level, three at 9th, four at 11th, and the maximum of five missiles at 13th level or higher. All creatures damaged by a magma missile catch on fire unless it succeeds on a Reflex save.
A shield spell does not protect against magma missile
