This power establishes a harmless fragment of conciousness in the mind of another. You are dimly aware of the other person's status; alive, injured (50% or above hp), badly injured (50% or below hp), dying, or dead. You are also aware of their general location and other creatures in the room. You don't see or hear them specifically, but you can make out things such as the other person being in a room with 4 people, talking to one, while there are sounds coming from the next room. You may also make spot and listen checks as if you were there in the room, including opposed checks to find hiding creatures.

The range is unlimited, but is suppressed while they are on a different plane on you, telling you only what plane they went to. Bodyguard psychic warriors often make use of this to make sure their charges are protected even if they do not constantly observe them.

Augment: If you spend 2 additional power points, you can apply this effect to another creature.

If you spend 6 additional power points, the effect of this power extends across all planar boundaries.

If you spend 6 additional power points, you gain exact visual and audio information as if you were in the room with them whenever you concentrate.
