Upon casting this spell, you enhance your weapon, which crackles with illusory purple energy. The next attacks (up to one attack per caster level) you make deal an additional 1d6 damage per two caster levels (maximum of 5d6), will save halves. Creatures immune to mind-affecting effects take half damage from this extra source of damage, while mindless creatures and objects are immune to it. Once all attacks are used up, the spell ends.
The energy seem to extend for your weapon, allowing you to strike creatures farther away than normal. While under the effect of mindslash, you increase your weapon's reach by 5 feet. However, you may not strike at mindless creatures or objects with this extra reach.
