A box created by the ingenious necromancer and surgeon Renée Matherson. It is a self-cleaning refrigerated box used to store organs and even entire bodies, in fact any organ or body placed inside do not rot or degrade as per gentle repose. The box can also be used to contain graft, preventing them from rotting away. The interior is always disinfected, allowing for maximum uses of the organs and bodies placed within.
The Mortician's Box is portable and fashionable, it has quick storage access for grafts and organs. If placed on the ground and the command word spoken, it expand to great size and allow the storage and retrieval of up to 12 bodies (assuming medium creatures, each size category above take up twice as much space while smaller bodies take half). It is possible to buy a lesser box at the price of 200 gp, which cannot expand and thus may only be used to store organs and grafts.
