Overfluff
Transmutation
Level: Druid 3, Sorcerer/Wizard 3
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: One furry creature
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

This kitty is too fluffy for words.

The targeted creature must have enough hair to be considered "fur". If it fails, its fur grows uncontrollably transforming it into a puffball. It is blinded by its own hair for the duration, and has a 25% chance any time it moves that it will instead trip and fall prone. On the other hand, bludgeoning damage to the target now deals nonlethal damage. The creature is now considered flammable and will catch on fire if exposed to fire damage (and failing the DC 15 Reflex save). Cutting the hair is useless, as it immediately grows back.

If cast in a spell slot two levels higher, this affects one creature per caster level.

If cast in a spell slot two levels higher, the duration becomes Instantaneous, but the hair does not regrow if cut. Visibility can be regained by taking a full round action to clear hair around the face with any cutting tool.
