If the target creature fails a Will saving throw, one mental ability score of your choice drops to 1. The affected creature is unable to use the affected mental ability-based skills, cast spells or powers linked off the score, understand language, or communicate coherently (regardless of which ability score is affected). An unbreakable ethereal crystal surrounds their head, visible only by detecting magic or psionics. Still, it knows who its friends are and can follow them and even protect them. The subject remains in this state until a bend reality, heal, limited wish, miracle, psychic chirurgery, reality revision, or wish spell or power is used to cancel the effect of the feeblemind. A creature that can manifest psionic powers, such as a psion or a psychic warrior, takes a −4 penalty on its saving throw.
A mindbreaker who manifests this power gains 1 pain point if its victim fails its saving throw.
Augment: If you spend 4 additional power points, this power can target another mental ability score (up to all three).
If you spend 2 additional power points, this power grants you a +6 enchantment bonus on the corresponding mental ability score for 1 round/level after your target fails its save.
In addition, for every 2 additional power points you spend to achieve any of these effects, this power’s save DC increases by 1.
