Dragons have been living and breeding for eons. Sorcerers of any humanoid race carry a trace of this draconicancestry. Is every sorcerer a member of a race of the dragon? No—although the blood of the dragon may be in all of them, it is dilute and latent in the vast majority.Other races such as lizardfolk and troglodytes likewisemay have had touches of dragon blood in their past, but they no longer have strong links to any dragon ancestry. That link is necessary for one to claim descent from draconic ancestry. Being a member of a Draconic race. Race goes much deeper than merely speaking Draconic, or having scales. Races of the dragon are those with strong ties to their dragon progenitors. They look, feel, and often behave in ways that reflect their mighty draconic heritage.

Dragon Paragon

Dragons rarely adopt character classes. Their perspectiveon the passing of time, their enormous natural abilities,and their essentially bestial nature together incline them to a patient stance of allowing time to advance their abilities, rather than the sort of frantic training typical of creatures with character classes. That said, a small number of dragons activly hone the abilitys and power of there blood to it's highest peaks, becoming a pinnical of draconic might. These exeptional creatures are the Dragon Paragon.

Race: Creatures with the dragon type.

Alignment: Same as the dragon variety.

Hit Die: d12.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the dragon paragon class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

A Dragon Paragon has proficiency with Simple Weapons, and Light, and Medium Armor, but has no proficiency with Shields, and use of a shield hinders a Dragon's ability to fight with both claws, effectively allowing only one attack using his claws.

Spells

Starting at 3rd level, a dragon becomes an arcain spellcaster, and gains new spells as a sorcerer ,

gaining bonus spells for a high Charisma score. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (bonus metamagic feats, and so on). This essentially means that she adds the caster level indicated on Table: The Dragon Paragon to her level in sorcerer, then determines spells per day and caster level accordingly.

Improved Breath Weapon (Su)

A dragon paragon's natural breath weapon is increased by 1d8 at first level of Dragon Paragon, and increasing by an additional 1d8 at third (+2d8 total). The Breath Weapon still requires 1d4+1 rounds to recharge before being usable again.

Natural Armor Increase (Ex)

At 1st, 3rd, and 5th level, a gains an increase to the character’s existing natural armor (if any), as indicated on Table: The Dragon Paragon

(the numbers represent the total increase gained to that point).

Growth(Ex)

At 2nd Level, a dragon paragon has the option to increase her size category by one size.

Alternate Form (Su)

A dragon paragon can assume any animal, fey, or humanoid form of medium size or smaller as a standard action three times per day. This ability functions as a
Pollymorph spell cast on it by a 10th-level caster. The dragon can remain in it's alternate form until it chooses to assume a new one or return to it's natural form.

Ability Boost (Ex)

As the dragon paraon gains levels in this prestige class, her ability scores increase as noted on Table: The
