Quivering Blow
Revised quivering palm
Class: monk
Level: 15
Replaces: Quivering Palm
Benefit: : Starting at 15th level, a monk can set up vibrations within the body of another creature that is fatal to the creatures. The monk can use this quivering strike attack 3 times a day, and they must announce their intent before making her attack roll. Constructs, undead and incorporeal creatures cannot be affected.
Otherwise, if the monk strikes successfully and the target takes damage from the blow, the quivering palm attack succeeds. The target must make a Fortitude saving throw (DC 15 + 1/2 the monk’s level + the monk’s Wis modifier) or it dies.
If the saving throw is successful, target automatically becomes exhausted and takes 1d4 constitution damage. When the monk reach level 19, corporeal undead and constructs can be affected by the instant death effect but get a +3 on their fort save and instead are knocked prone if they successfully save.
