5e Spell Redirecting Rift
1st-level conjuration
Casting Time: 1 Reaction, taken when a creature you can see within range is hit by an attack or fails a Dexterity saving throw.
Range: 30ft
Components: V, S, M (A specially-prepared mirror worth at least 100gp)
Duration: Instantaneous
Casters: Artificer, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard

You tear a rift in space right in the nick of time, causing a blast of fire or the thrust of a spear to change targets.

To do so, you must make a spell attack roll against the triggering creature's AC. If you succeed, the target suffers no harm from the triggering attack or Dexterity save, as a portal briefly opens between them and the harm that would have come to them.

Upon successfully redirecting harm in this way, you can choose a new target that you can see within 30ft of you; This target may be a creature or an object or structure as you see fit. The new target is subjected to the same attack or Dexterity saving throw - Using the same attack roll or save DC, as well as the same damage and other effects - As a second rift opens next to the new target, allowing the redirected effect to pass through.

At Higher Levels. When cast using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, when selecting a new target for the redirected effect, you may select a target who is an additional 30ft away for each slot level above 1st.
