Riding Plate[edit]
Riding plate is a heavy protective full plate with better protection on the joints and tougher, thicker armor. However, it is very heavy and not mobile at all. It's intended to be used on horseback, where the mobility options are not a problem.

Riding plate reduces your speed in half, rather than the normal 3/4rd reduction for heavy armor. In addition, standing up from prone is a standard action.
Riding plate has straps on its legs, allowing the user to hook to a mount's saddle securely. By locking themselves to their mount they gain a +8 bonus on any checks made to knock them off their mount. Locking or unlocking a rider is a full round action that provokes attacks of opportunity.
